What I've been up to....
It's not easy been good so generally, I don't tend to bother! Lately I've been driving my mum mad by dive bombing pigeons during what she says should be my relaxing walk. Pigeons couldn't *be* more annoying for me. They treat our neighbourhood as if they own it and what's more, they often walk the pavements instead of flying! Tell me, is there anyone out there that can honestly say they'd resist a good charging opportunity..?
Make sure your dog is kitted out in style!.
A - Z of Breeds
Each month I'll bring you your guide to the best breeds!
D is for Dachshunds!
Also known as the sausage dog, these little guys are perfect for small spaces. They weigh up to 26lbs and are generally no more than 10 inches tall! Don't be fooled by the cute factor though for these dogs were bred to chase down badgers and therefore are quite fearless. Without proper socialisation Dachshunds can be sharp towards other pets in the house and children - they are not put off by being much smaller than those around them.
As a Dachshund owner, you'll need to be prepared to put in a decent amount of walk time each day. Despite their little legs they love to run in nature. Being natural trackers they'll also enjoy playing extra scenting games at home during your training sessions.

D is also for Dalmatians!
Don't be fooled by the elegant aloof look in this dog's eyes for Dalmatians make very loyal and friendly companions once they settle with you. In fact they love human company and prefer to be with you as much as possible! Because of their desire to be near their owners Dalmatians can become destructive around the home if they get bored and lonely - not a good breed to choose if you're out at work all day...
Weighing in around 25lbs and being full of muscle these dogs LOVE to walk and run. As an owner, be prepared to cover a good few miles each day!

And finally which breeds are strutting it out on the dancefloor?!
Following on from a successful win on BGT, many dogs are thinking of taking up the past time of dancing. With only a little help from you, your dog could also be joining in the trend and strutting his stuff!
This month we learn how to spin! For instuctions on teaching this go to the video below. Don't forget to post your results to the dog forum!
Double Trouble Breeds
We may only be 2 dogs but we represent more than one breed each!
Chows
Chows are fluffy with coats that need constant attention! These dogs make excellent guard dogs and are very loyal to their owners but they do need a strong hand when it comes to training!
Golden Retrievers
Retrievers are super intelligent. They love nothing more than a long walk followed by a game of fetch!
Corgi's
The Corgi is the dog of royalty. The Queen has hundreds of them! They are little yappy things that need lots of training to keep them in check!
Collies
Collies need lots of walking to ward off boredom which causes them to misbehave! They are strong willed characters so need a fair amount of training but since they're so clever, it shouldn't take long to teach him the basics.
